Innovative Analytics & Training Appoints New Managers

WASHINGTON, July 31, 2009 – Innovative Analytics & Training LLC (Innovative Analytics), a privately-held company that helps organizations make better decisions by integrating diverse information sources with advanced analytic methods, announced that it added two new members to its management team.

Innovative Analytics appointed Clint Watts to lead its training division. Watts has 14 years of experience serving military, law enforcement and private sector organizations around the country. Most recently, he was a consultant at PJ Sage Inc. where he conducted training and research programs for both the military and law enforcement.After Watts spent more than seven years in the U.S. Army as an infantry officer, he served as a FBI special agent on the Portland, Oregon Joint Terrorism Task Force.Following his time with the FBI, he served as the executive officer for the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point (CTC). In addition to teaching cadets while at CTC, he designed counter terrorism curricula for the FBI-CTC Collaborative and provided training for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Forces and the FBI Academy.  He also conducted primary research on al-Qa’ida’s internal documents captured on the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq for the CTC Harmony Project. Watts holds a bachelor’s in political science from the U.S. Military Academy and a master’s in international policy studies from Monterey Institute of International Studies.

Innovative Analytics named Kate Massey its operations and senior contracts manager.Massey has over 18 years of experience in market research, grants and contracts management, subcontract development and international development fundraising. She most recently supported USAID government contractors and nonprofit organizations through grants and contracts management consulting and private foundation fundraising. Massey supported the U.S. Department of State as a grants officer and contracts specialist after serving as grants and contracts director to a nonprofit public policy research organization. She has worked for several defense contractors as a management consultant providing federal procurement oversight support to the Department of Defense and the intelligence community. She holds a bachelor’s in international studies and French, a master’s in international business and a procurement and grants management certificate.
